HOW TO SUCCEED - SHREK
Jacob received Theatre Under The Stars' Aida Broadbent Award in recognition of his work in this production. |
Summer 2013 ~ "Mr. Matthews"
Directed by Sarah Rodgers Choreography by Shelley Stewart Hunt Musical Direction by Christopher King "The acting, the singing, the orchestration and the choreography are a tightly unified part of this production with very high production values. Finally, Stanley Park itself is a matchless ambience, making for an even more memorable experience." "Shelley Stewart Hunt’s choreography is particularly strong in the big ensemble numbers like "Coffee Break." Later in the show she throws in Dance of the Cygnets from Swan Lake which, danced by a bunch of men in business suits, just cracks everyone up. This show, joyfully directed by Sarah Rodgers, is a musical walk down memory lane." |
Summer 2014 ~ "Captain of the Guard/Ensemble"
Understudy for "Lord Farquaad" and "Pinocchio" (performed) Directed by Sarah Rodgers Choreographed by Julie Tomaino Musical Direction by Chris King "There is some phenomenal talent on the Malkin Bowl stage (and I don't throw the word phenomenal around very often) ... Collectively the ensemble is simply the best thing to hit a Vancouver stage in some time." |
