"When people ask me what my favourite musical is it is always hard to choose just one, but Meredith Wilson’s The Music Man is consistently at the top of the list. My reason for this is because this musical is just so full of love. The journey follows Harold Hill as he introduces music and art to the stubborn Iowans. Though it may not have been his initial intention, he also teaches the town of River City to believe in themselves. And it is through that same magic, brought upon by the power of art, that transforms the citizens to see just how beautiful their world has always been. This is just one of the reasons why I think this show is so special."

"I don't know about you, but I'd like to make today worth remembering." "The world of the play was clear and well founded, the young actors in Jacob's company had well defined character arcs and the production was full of tremendous detail." |
"Jacob wanted the students in the band to play actual instruments and be taught to play a three bar line of music. I was doubtful that we would have the time to teach them and for it to work, but Jacob was able to make the time and brought in a band teacher to help them learn and ultimately they did a great job. It was a wonderful moment in the show and for the students."
