"Jacob displayed a keen eye; recognizing the talents and abilities of his young company, then pushing, guiding, coaxing them to greater achievements. His rehearsal hall was always a respectful, safe and optimistic environment."
~ Rick Rinder, Stage Manager
Jacob is passionate about his work as an arts educator. His experience has included spearheading the development of new performing arts based programming, teaching courses over extended sessions, assisting other instructors, being a special guest for a question and answer period, and leading one-off workshops.
Jacob is always thrilled to discuss future teaching opportunities, from long-term and involved to single-day appearances, please do not hesitate to contact Jacob if you or your training program would like to explore ways to have him come and work with you. For some examples of the larger-scale education he has done, visit his Directing Webpage for the Kay Meek Conservatory. "Jacob was able to provide leadership and direction when I unexpectedly had to leave the city for a week of the program and enabled me to deal with my personal matters without worrying about the final success of the Junior Conservatory production. This was of great comfort to me and speaks to his kindness, generosity, and professionalism as it required more time and energy on his part, above what was required of him." |
